DISCUSSION:

The Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services has asked the Board of Supervisors to bring forth this proclamation highlighting education and awareness as being fundamental to saving lives in a tsunami event. The County of Humboldt and Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services will test the Humboldt Alert system by sending a test message to every registered contact point on Wednesday, March 20^th, 2019.
