DISCUSSION:
Pursuant to Section 30301.2 of the Public Resources Code, Governor Gavin Newsom is currently requesting nominations of a least one Board of Supervisors Member and one City Council Member for appointment to the California Coastal Commission for the seat requiring a representative from the North Coast Region. Nominations must be received by the Office of the Governor within 45 days from the date of the attached letter dated January 30, 2019.
At the time of this writing, there were no Board Members from any of the Boards of Supervisors from Del Norte, Humboldt or Mendocino County expressing interest in an appointment to fill the North Coast Region seat on the California Coastal Commission.
