DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to send letters of appreciation to Mr. Justin Zabel of Mercer Fraser and Mr. Greg Pierson for their donations to the Freshwater Road Speed Hump Project. This project was in response to the Garfield School Community’s desire to install speed tables adjacent to Garfield Elementary School on Freshwater Road. The project was approved by the Board of Supervisors last year with the condition of supplemental funding through local interested parties. Both Mr. Zabel and Mr. Pierson were paramount in this effort and should be recognized for making a positive difference in their communities and in Humboldt County.
