DISCUSSION:
An At-Large member vacancy is occurring on the Humboldt County Aviation Advisory Committee due to the resignation of David Ravetti. Mr. Ravetti has notified the Clerk of the Board that he is resigning due to relocating out of the area. Mr. Ravetti has been serving on this committee for several years and his current term ends on June 30, 2021.
Unless the Clerk of the Board is notified, not more than three days prior nor more than seven days subsequent to the date of this meeting, of a desire to calendar this matter for further discussion, any Board member may bring forward an item to appoint any qualified person to fill this vacancy. Under the terms of the Maddy Act, the soonest date on which an appointment may be made is February 19, 2019.
The vacancy has been posted and applications for appointment are being accepted by the Clerk of the Board’s office.
