DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Domestic Violence Coordination Council Prevention Committee would like to give a brief presentation on human trafficking to bring awareness to this important issue. Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery. It is a crime against humanity and violates the most basic human rights. Local community based, Tribal, and governmental organizations are working together to bring awareness to this issue and to look for root causes and to find strategic methods of prevention.
