DISCUSSION:
The Big Lagoon Subdivision Design Review Committee was formed to provide design review for conformance of new development with the policies and standards of the General Plan, and provide for a design review process where neighborhoods within the same zone district desire to preserve or enhance the area’s historical, cultural or scenic values. The Committee is composed of five (5) members appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The term is at the pleasure of the Board.
Per the Amended protocol for Board of Supervisors appointments (Item C-5 on June 20, 2017), the Big Lagoon Subdivision Design Review Committee falls under the exception to the protocol, allowing for one agenda item under consent to make the appointment. Therefore, Supervisor Sundberg would like to appoint the following members; Rob Wilson, Charles King and Marjorie Adler. The new members have all included a letter of interest and have been recommended by current Committee Chair Mr. James Vandegriff.
The Roster has been updated and the committee is now full.
