DISCUSSION:
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness month and the Suicide Prevention Network would like to give a brief presentation and update to the Board of Supervisors. The presentation will increase awareness and understanding of the severe problem of suicide in Humboldt County. The network will do this by presenting on the national, state, and local data as well as giving voice to some of the private and public organizations and individuals working locally in the field of suicide prevention.
