DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors has been asked for a letter in support of the Samoa Dunes and Wetlands Conservation Project: Acquisition of Dog Ranch and the Poovey Track. The project to be considered for funding through the State Coastal Conservancy is 366 acres on properties known as Dog Ranch and the Poovey Track. This project presents a unique opportunity to protect significant coastal habitat and provide new public coastal access.
