RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Department of Health and Human Services-Mental Health (DHHS-MH) Director, or a designee thereof, to accept, a grant in the amount of $7,500,000.00 over four (4) years, and execute the state standard agreement and all documents necessary to secure, grant funding from the California Mental Health Services Oversight and Accountability Commission to deliver school-based mental health crisis services; approve the allocation of one (1) full-time equivalent (FTE) Supervising Mental Health Clinician (class 0916, salary range 476) in budget unit 424, effective upon execution of the state standard agreement; approve the allocation of six (6) full-time equivalent Mental Health Clinician I/II (class 0909A/B, salary range 422/452) in budget unit 424, effective upon execution of the state standard agreement; adopt the attached supplemental budget in the amount of $1,875,000.00 for fiscal year 2018-19, DHHS Mental Health budget unit 1170-424 (4/5 vote required); and direct the Clerk of the Board to return one (1) certified copy of the resolution to the Department of Health and Human Services-Contract Unit for further processing.
