DISCUSSION:
The Alzheimer’s Association of Northern California and Nevada has requested the Board of Supervisors recognize June 2018, as Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month in Humboldt County, to educate our citizens about the disease and the need to accelerate research in an effort to develop disease-altering treatments more quickly.
