DISCUSSION:
At the April 1, 2014 Board of Supervisors meeting the Board approved the recommended protocol for appointing members of the public to Boards, Committees and Commissions. Part of the new protocol established the requirement for a quarterly report on all current vacancies as well as any vacancies that are scheduled to occur within the three months following the date of the agenda item. Attachment 1 lists current and scheduled vacancies.

ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
The Board could take action in the form of scheduling dates to consider appointments to some of the vacancies on this list.
