Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors approve the attached agreement with Granicus, Inc. to provide support services for the county's public meeting software through the County Administrative Office Information Technology division; and authorize the Board Chair to execute the proposed agreement with Granicus, Inc. and any future amendments thereto.

DISCUSSION:
Information Technology has been utilizing Granicus, Inc. for public meeting software support for the last six years. The prior agreement expired on January 14, 2017 and support services since that time have been provided on a month to month basis without a contract. Staff wish to continue contracting with Granicus to ensure that the county's public meeting software is supported, allowing for transparency and enhanced support for agenda management. The proposed agreement has a 4.25 year term and includes enhanced support for agenda management and closed captioning. The cost at signing for service through July 31, 2018 is $10,276.50 and increases to $57,942 on August 1, 2018 for the following year. Staff recommends that the Board approve and authorize the Chair to execute the proposed agreement with Granicus Inc.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The cost of the agreement through July 31, 2018 is $10,275.50, with an increase to $57,942 for the term of August 1, 2018 through July 31, 2019. This expense was anticipated and included in the budgets for Information Technology and ADA for FY 2017-18 and the proposed budget for FY 2018-19. The ongoing annual cost is outlined in Support Services Agreement with Granicus, Inc. Exhibit B.
