Governing Body Resolution for Federal Financial Assistance under P.L. 93-288 Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988 and California Disaster Assistance Act
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution ______ (Attachment 1) designating the Sheriff, Undersheriff, and Deputy Director Sheriffs Administration as agents to execute for and on behalf of the County of Humboldt, an application for federal financial assistance under P.L. 93-288 as amended by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, and/or state financial assistance under the California Disaster Assistance Act, for past and future declared disasters.
