Bid Award Authorization and Consultant Services Agreement Regarding Arcata/Eureka Airport, Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility Building Construction, Airport Improvement Program Grant 3-06-0010-046, County Project No. 919280
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors receive and file the bids for the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility Building Project; award the project to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Danco Builders Northwest - Arcata, California, in the amount of $5,949,249.00 for the base bid; approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached construction agreement with Danco Builders Northwest - Arcata, California; approve, and authorize the Chair of the Board to execute, the attached consultant services agreement with The KPA Group, Inc.; and direct the Clerk of the Board to return three (3) original copies of the attached consultant services agreement to the Department of Public Works for further processing.
