Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors open the public hearing and receive the staff report and public comment; close the public hearing and deliberate; make the necessary findings to approve the General Plan Amendment and adopt Resolution No._____ (Attachment A), approving the amendment of the Trinidad Area Plan, amend the Trinidad Area Plan, subject to California Coastal Commission approval to allow for a water line extension from the City of Trinidad domestic water system to serve CalFire's Trinidad Fire Station; adopt a Resolution of Transmittal to the California Coastal Commission for the proposed Local Coastal Plan Amendment and transmit the Local Coastal Program Amendment to the Trinidad Area Plan text changes to the California Coastal Commission for certification in accordance with the Coastal Act; and direct the Clerk of the Board to give notice of the decision to the applicant/owner, the County Assessor's Office and any other interested party, and direct Planning and Building Department - Planning Division to file a Notice of Exemption pursuant to California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
