Resolution Authorizing the Submittal of a California Coastal Commission Grant to Support the Ongoing Update of the Humboldt Bay Area Plan
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt the attached Resolution No. _____:
a. Authorizing the submission of an application for a $ 100,000 California Coastal Commission (CCC) for a Local Coastal Program (LCP) planning grant to continue the update of the Humboldt Bay Area Plan, which was started with the 2014 LCP Grant; and
b. Authorizing the Director of Planning and Building Department to execute all necessary applications, contracts and agreements and amendments thereto, in the name of the County of Humboldt and all other documents required by California Coastal Commission for participation in the grant program.
