Proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2017-18 Budget
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors receive and review Humboldt County's Proposed FY 2017-18 Budget; approve a one-year waiver of the Board policy on Balanced Budget to allow the General Fund's fund balance (savings) to be used for on-going expenses; adopt a Resolution Authorizing an Inter-Fund Loan for the Forest Resources and Recreation Fund (1710) (Attachment I); direct the Auditor-Controller to transfer $1,100,000 in FY 2017-18 from the Tax Loss Reserve Fund (3010) to the General Fund; direct the Auditor-Controller to establish fund 3552 for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Compliance to serve as an Internal Service Fund; continue budget discussion to the public hearings scheduled for Monday June 19, 2017 (1:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.); direct the County Administrative Officer to return to the Board on June 27,2017, to consider adoption of the final budget for FY 2017-18; and take other action as appropriate.
