Issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention and Treatment Grant
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors authorize the issuance of an RFP for an outside contractor to provide child abuse prevention and early intervention services in a community setting for the Child Abuse Prevention, Intervention, and Treatment (CAPIT) program; authorize the Department of Health and Human Services to negotiate a contract with the selected contractor; and authorize the Director of DHHS - Social Services to sign the contract for the CAPIT program awardee in the form of the attached sample contract subject to approval from County Counsel and Risk Management.
