Pilot Project to Provide Educational Tablets in the Correctional Facility and Supplemental Budget Request (4/5 Vote Required)
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign three originals of a Professional Services Agreement between Jail Education Solutions, Inc. (Edovo) and the County of Humboldt for a ninety-day pilot project to provide educational tablets in the Correctional Facility (Attachment 1); and approve a supplemental budget request for the Edovo tablet pilot project as described (4/5 vote required).
