Resolution Authorizing Appoint Individuals to Act on Behalf of the Governing Body and the Humboldt County Operational Area for the Homeland Security Grant Program in Federal Fiscal Year 2017
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No. _____, the Governing Body Resolution (Attachment 1) and direct the Clerk of the Board to certify; authorize the Sheriff or Undersheriff to execute for and on behalf of Humboldt County for the purpose of obtaining federal financial assistance provided by the United States Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Grant Program and subgranted through the State of California; and direct the Clerk of the Board to return the completed documents to the Sheriff's Office of Emergency Services, Attn: Dorie Lanni, by February 16, 2017 for immediate submission to the California Governor's Office of Emergency Services.
