Proposition 1, Disadvantaged Community Involvement Grant Agreement and West Coast Watershed Professional Services Agreement
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors review the staff report and associated supporting documents; adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works to execute a grant agreement in a form substantially similar to the attached agreement with the Department of Water Resources to support the North Coast Resource Partnership Outreach and Involvement: Tribal Engagement and Economic Opportunity for Disadvantaged Communities Program; authorize the Director of Public Works to execute a professional services agreement with West Coast Watershed to perform associated consulting services in a form substantially similar to the attached professional services agreement after review by County Counsel and Risk Management; authorize the Director of Public Works to execute any and all future amendments to the grant agreement and the professional services agreement with West Coast Watershed after review by County Counsel and Risk Management; and direct the Humboldt County Auditor-Controller to create a non-interest bearing trust account for an advance payment of grant funds associated with the aforementioned project.
