Grant Agreement with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the California Safe and Active Communities Program Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Project
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors approve the California Safe and Active Communities Program Prescription Drug Overdose Prevention Project grant in the amount of $100,000 for the period of Dec. 1, 2016 through Aug. 31, 2019; authorize the Chair to sign four (4) original signature pages of the agreement and certifications; direct the Clerk of the Board to return four (4) signed originals to Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) - Contracts Unit; and authorize the Director of Public Health or designee to approve all future amendments to the grant agreement and documents directly related to those agreements, that do not require matching funds from the county, with County Counsel and Risk Management review and approval.
