Resolution Accepting the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program Agreement for the Period January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017 and Approval of Supplemental Budget (4/5 Vote Required)
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt Resolution No. _____ (Attachment 1) approving the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Agreement in the amount of $206,445 for the period of January 1, 2017 to December 31, 2017; authorize the Sheriff to execute the Grant Agreement (Attachment 2), and amendments thereto, in the name of the County of Humboldt, and all other documents required by Board of State and Community Corrections for participation in the grant program; and approve a supplemental budget in Budget Unit 228 Marijuana Eradication to reflect funds awarded for the third year of the three-year grant period (4/5 vote required).
