United States Forest Service Funds to Support the Continuation of the Fire-Adapted Landscapes and Safe Homes Program and Supplemental Budget. Supplemental Budgets Require 4/5 Vote
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors review a staff report and associated supporting documents regarding funding provided by the United States Forest Service ("USFS"), intended to support the continuation of the Fire-Adapted Landscapes and Safe Homes ("FLASH") Program; authorize the Public Works Director, or a designee thereof, to execute a standard agreement and any other documents necessary to participate in the grant program, including, without limitation, professional services agreements to assist with the implementation of this program, after review and approval by County Counsel and Risk Management; and direct the Humboldt County Auditor-Controller to supplement the attached budget (4/5 vote required).
