Adoption of Ordinance for Public Employees' Retirement System Contract Amendment
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors adopt Ordinance No. _____ amending the Public Employees' Retirement System ("PERS") retirement contract, as an Ordinance pursuant to Government Code sections 25123(e) and (f); direct the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to sign the "CERTIFICATION OF EMPLOYEE ELECTION" form; direct the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors to sign the "CERTIFICATION OF FINAL ACTION OF GOVERNING BODY" form; and authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to sign two original sets of the Amendment to Contract.
