Approval of Cooperative Agreement No. 16-0333-SF, the Pierce's Disease Control Program Contract in the Amount of $19,179.92 and Request for Minute Order Designating the Agriculture Department as the Responsible Local Public Agency
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors approve Cooperative Agreement No. 16-0333-SF known as the Pierce's Disease Control Program contract between Humboldt County and the California Department of Food and Agriculture; authorize the Chair to sign the original agreement, one copy of the cover page, and direct the Clerk of the Board to return all copies along with a copy of the Board order to the Agriculture Department for further processing; that the Board of Supervisors approve a minute order designating the Agricultural Department as the responsible local public entity for the Pierce's Disease/Glassy-winged Sharpshooter Control Program in Humboldt County; and grant a waiver from the provisions of the Nuclear Free Ordinance.
