Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Funding Application from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH)
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors approve and authorize the Public Health Director to submit the application for WIC funding in the amount of $4,311,734 for the period of October 1, 2015 through September 30, 2019; authorize the Public Health Director to sign the Certification of Contract Application; authorize the Public Health Director to sign the final WIC agreement when it is received from CDPH; authorize the Public Health Director to sign WIC agreement amendments for FY 2015-16, FY 2016-17, FY 2017-18 and FY 2018-19 when they are received from CDPH; and direct the Clerk of the Board to return the certified agenda item to the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) Contracts Unit.
