Continued Board Review of the Planning Commission Approved Draft General Plan. In Particular, Deliberations on Appendix B: Glossary and Definitions, the Work Plan for the Land Use Map Meetings, and Consideration of Straw Votes Prior to Consistency Review and Environmental Analysis
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors open the public hearing; deliberate on Appendix B: Glossary and Definitions; deliberate on the work plan for the upcoming land use map workshops and meetings; authorize the Planning Director to sign contracts with Access Humboldt and the Mateel Community Center for the July 13, 2015 offsite Board meeting, and to sign agreements committing to the use of facilities for all the workshops and meetings at the times, dates and locations listed in Table 1 (page 3); deliberate on consideration of straw-votes prior to consistency review and environmental analysis; deliberate on the Board's review schedule for the Draft General Plan as needed; and continue the meeting to Monday, June 22, 2015 beginning at 11:00 am or as soon thereafter as possible to deliberate on the Land Use maps for the Northern area.
