Community Recidivism Reduction Grant Funding
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors take action to accept state funding; authorize the Board Chairperson to sign the attached letter confirming Humboldt County interest in receiving the allocated funding; direct the Clerk of the Board mail the signed letter and a copy of the official minutes reflecting this Board action to the Board of State and Community Corrections as soon as available; and direct staff to work with the Humboldt County Community Corrections Partnership to develop the local grant program, establishing minimum requirements, funding criteria, grant award limits, and procedures for the county to award grants.
