RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute, the attached subcontract with Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. regarding implementation of the Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis and Non-Crisis Services Project in Humboldt County for the period of Sept. 15, 2021 through June 30, 2025; and
2. Authorize the Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent amendments, and any other agreements, certifications, attestations and documents related, to the attached subcontract with Advocates for Human Potential, Inc., after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office.

DISCUSSION:
The attached subcontract with Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. (AHP) will allow the Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services - Behavioral Health (DHHS - Behavioral Health) to receive up to $985,062.51 for the purpose of providing behavioral health support and prioritizing addressing youth and young adult crisis needs within the community as part of the Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis and Non-Crisis Services Project.

Accordingly, DHHS - Behavioral Health recommends that the Board approve, authorize the DHHS - Behavioral Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute, the attached subcontract with AHP regarding implementation of the Behavioral Health Mobile Crisis and Non-Crisis Services Project in Humboldt County for the period of September 15, 2021 through June 30, ...
