California Native American Day is celebrated annually on the fourth Friday in September. This day served as an important opportunity to honor the rich cultural heritage, contributions, and resilience of Native Americans. By proclaiming September 22, 2023 as California Native American Day in Humboldt, we can promote greater awareness, understanding, and appreciation of Native American culture and traditions in our communities.
