1.                     Consider limiting short-term vacation rentals for all but documented essential personnel during the Pandemic through an Emergency Ordinance (4/5 vote required) or through a Public Health Order.

DISCUSSION:

In response to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County and increased public health concerns, the Board is being asked to consider limiting short-term vacation rentals within the county’s jurisdiction for all but documented essential personnel during the Pandemic through adoption of an Emergency Ordinance (which requires a 4/5 vote) or through a Public Health Order
