The Board of Supervisors has been asked to recognize March 8, 2020 as International Women’s Day to honor the centennial year of women’s suffrage and to encourage community members to observe this day by participating in local events and working to create a more inclusive world, where all genders are able to live to their fullest potential, free from discrimination, oppression, and violence.
