RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve the attached Software Agreement by and between the County of Humboldt and Clinisys for the amount of $95,000.00 for FY 2026-27; and
2. Authorize the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) - Public Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute the attached Software Agreement by and between the County of Humboldt and Clinisys for Fiscal Year 2026-27; and
3. Authorize DHHS - Public Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent amendments, certifications, attestations, and documents directly associated with the attached Software Agreement with Clinisys after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office.

DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County DHHS - Public Health provides a variety of clinical, environmental and bioterrorism related, testing services. DHHS - Public Health relies on the Public Health LIMS, ApolloLIMS, developed by Common Cents Systems, Inc. in order to electronically organize testing requests and report results in a useful and efficient manner. The ApolloLIMS includes functionality for security, specimen processing, results processing, reporting inquiry and customer service.
