DISCUSSION:
Veterans Day is an opportunity to recognize and honor the individuals who have served in the United States Military and acknowledge their courage, dedication and sacrifices in protecting this nation's freedoms. Humboldt County remains committed to showing appreciation for its veterans and recognizing their continued contributions to its communities.
In recognition of Veterans Day, Humboldt County will also participate in Operation Green Light for Veterans by illuminating the Eureka Veterans Hall in green beginning Nov. 4, 2026, with additional Veterans Halls and the Humboldt County Courthouse participating as resources allow. The community is encouraged to join this effort by displaying a green light in support of veterans and their families.
