RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Adopt the attached resolution rescinding Resolution No. 22-114 and Amending the County of Humboldt's current Conflict of Interest Code; and
2. Direct the Clerk of the Board to provide the County Counsel's Office with one (1) fully executed certified copy of the attached resolution.

DISCUSSION:
The Political Reform Act requires that the County of Humboldt's Conflict of Interest Code be reviewed every two (2) years. The County of Humboldt's Conflict of Interest Code requires an amendment to incorporate minor modifications required by law. Adoption of the attached resolution will incorporate the amendments to the Political Reform Act into the County of Humboldt's Conflict of Interest Code. The modification to Appendix B fulfills this legal requirement as well. Any positions or committees that have been deleted are stricken and any additions have been underlined.
SOURCE OF FUNDING:
No funding is necessary beyond already funded staff time.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There are direct costs associated with adoption of the attached resolution amending the County of Humboldt's current Conflict of Interest Code. As a result, the recommended action will not impact the Humboldt County General Fund.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
Adoption of the attached resolution amending the County of Humboldt's current Conflict of Interest Code will not impact current staffing levels.
