DISCUSSION:

The Humboldt County Behavioral Health Board has a vacancy for an At-Large member due to the resignation of Tim Ash.

 

A Notice of Vacancy has been posted per the Board of Supervisor Protocol.  A separate agenda item will be brought back to the Board by the Department of Health and Human Services for the consideration of appointment to fill the vacancy when an applicant has been selected.

 

Applications are available at the Clerk of the Board’s office or by emailing COB@co.humboldt.ca.us <mailto:COB@co.humboldt.ca.us>

 

All appointed members will be required to comply with the California Fair Political Practices Form 700 requirements as well as completing AB1234 Ethics training every two year.

 

FINANCIAL IMPACT:

There is no financial impact to posting a vacancy.  The Behavioral Health Board is a volunteer board that do not receive a stipend.
