RECOMMENDATION(S):Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and file the bids for construction of the Bid Award Authorization for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Main Station Office Remodel Project, Project Number 2026-501; and
2. Award the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Main Station Office Remodel Project, Project Number 2026-501, to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, Adams Commercial General Contracting, Inc. in the amount of Eight Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Five Hundred Seventy-Seven Dollars ($892,577.00); and
3. Authorize the Humboldt County Purchasing Agent, or a designee thereof, to execute the attached construction agreement with Adams Commercial General Contracting, Inc. regarding completion of the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Main Station Office Remodel Project, Project Number 2026-501; and
4. Authorize the Purchasing Agent to execute contract change orders for the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Main Station Office Remodel Project up to Eighty-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars and Seventy Cents ($89,257.70); and
5. Approve the attached fiscal year 2026-2027 supplemental budget in the amount of Four Hundred Fifty-Two Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty Dollars ($452,750.00) for County 6. Administrative Office – Americans with Disabilities Act Compliance Team budget unit 355-2152 (4/5 Vote Required); and
