United States Department of Transportation - Federal Aviation Administration Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0092-015-2025 for the Garberville Airport Runway Safety Area Improvement Project (Project No. 24146)end

RECOMMENDATION(S):Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Waive the requirements of the Humboldt County Nuclear-Free Ordinance with regard to Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0092-015-2025; and
2. Approve, and ratify the Assistant County Administrative Officer's execution of Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0092-015-2025; and
3. Authorize the Interim Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent amendments to Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0092-015-2025, after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
4. Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the Interim Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all documents related to Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Airport Infrastructure Grant Agreement No. 3-06-0092-015-2025; and
5. Receive and file the attached bid tabulation for the Garberville Airport Runway Safety Area Improvement Project (Project No. 24146); and
6. Award the Garberville Airport Runway Safety Area Improvement Project (Project No. 24146) to, and authorize the Interim Director of Aviation, or a designee thereof, to execute an agreement that is substantially similar to the sample construction project agreement attached hereto with, G.R. Wilcox Enterprises Inc. for an amount not to exceed Eighty-Seven Thousand Four Hundred Seven Dollars and Forty-Seven Cents ($87,407.47), upon submittal of the a...
