RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)- Public Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute, the attached grant amendment with the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) - Injury and Violence Prevention Program in Humboldt County for the period of Sept. 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2026;
2. Authorize the DHHS - Public Health Director, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent amendments, and any other agreements, certifications, attestations and documents directly related, to the attached grant agreement with the CDPH - Injury and Violence Prevention Branch, after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office; and
3. Approve the attached supplemental budget in the amount of $21,100 for DHHS - Public Health, Mental Health Services Act - Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) budget unit 1175-454 (4/5 Vote Required).
