Placing a Local Revenue Measure on the Ballot for November 2014
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors receive a report on various options for placing a local measure to raise County revenues before voters at the November 4, 2014, General Election and provide further direction to staff; approve a transfer from General Fund contingencies (4/5ths vote required), as shown in Attachment 1, to provide funding for polling on the likelihood of passage of a local revenue measure; and designate two members of your Board to work with the County Administrative Officer in providing any necessary feedback to the selected polling firm.
