DISCUSSION:
The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim May 2024 as CalFresh Awareness Month.
This proclamation honors the work the CalFresh program accomplishes through community agencies and acknowledges DHHS Social Services branch staff who work diligently to help alleviate food insecurities for Humboldt County residents.
