That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive the Code Enforcement Unit’s Annual Report.

DISCUSSION:
The attached report describes the activities of the Code Enforcement Unit (CEU) during the calendar year 2023.
SOURCE OF FUNDING:
General Fund 1100269
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
The CEU Administrative Civil Penalty process has collected $54,864 in Fines and Penalties that have been deposited in the County General fund. Additionally, CEU has collected $159,495 of Administrative Costs as defined by county code and deposited in CEU budget unit.
OTHER AGENCY INVOLVEMENT:
None
ALTERNATIVES TO STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS:
The Board of Supervisors could choose to not receive the Code Enforcement Unit annual report
