RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize the Humboldt County Substance Use Disorder Administrator, or a designee thereof, to execute, the attached California Department of Health Care Services Annual License Renewal Recommendation Form recommending renewal of Aegis Treatment Centers, LLC's license to operate a narcotic treatment program in Humboldt County;
2. Authorize the Humboldt County Substance Use Disorder Administrator, or a designee thereof, to execute any and all subsequent California Department of Health Care Services Annual License Renewal Recommendation Forms regarding the renewal of Aegis Treatment Centers, LLC's license to operate a narcotic treatment program in Humboldt County, after review and approval by County Counsel and the County Administrative Office; and
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to send one certified copy of the Board Order approving, and authorizing the Humboldt County Substance Use Disorder Administrator, or a designee thereof, to execute, the attached California Department of Health Care Services Annual License Renewal Recommendation Form to the Humboldt County Department of Health and Human Services - Contract Unit for further processing.

Aegis Treatment Centers, LLC is fully certified and licensed to operate a narcotic treatment program in Humboldt County.
