That the Board of Supervisors:

Strategic Plan Category: 1001 -Support and sustain partnerships between public safety and partner agencies to enhance public safety in our communities
DISCUSSION:
To raise awareness and honor the organizations working across Humboldt County to support suicide prevention, the Humboldt County Department of Health & Human Services has requested that the Board of Supervisors recognize September as National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, Sept. 8-14 as Suicide Prevention Week, and Sept. 10 as World Suicide Prevention Day.
