DISCUSSION:
The Board of Supervisors would like to proclaim May 2023 as CalFresh Awareness Month by honoring the work the CalFresh program accomplishes through community agencies and Social Services staff to alleviate food insecurities among Humboldt County residents including individuals, families with children, and elderly and disables people.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to adopting the proclamation.
