That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Receive and accept the Headwaters Fund (HWF) Annual Report.

DISCUSSION:
The Headwaters Fund Board (HFB) and staff are pleased to provide the attached fiscal year 2018-
19 Headwaters Fund Annual Report (Attachment 1). The report includes a summary of the fund’s
activities, results and financial status. Staff and HFB Past-Chair, Carl Hansen, will
present this report to your Board and will be available for questions. If your Board reviews and
accepts the HWF Annual Report, it will be printed and made available for public distribution by
hard copy, in addition to being posted on the HWF website and social media.
FINANCIAL IMPACT:
There is no financial impact to the county General Fund. Costs for printing the annual report have already been included in the fiscal year 2020-21 Adopted Budget for the Headwater Division Budget Unit (1120-286).
STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK:
This action supports your Board’s Strategic Framework by supporting business, workforce development and creation of private-sector jobs and encouraging new local investment.
