That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Ratify the Resolution.

DISCUSSION:
Supervisor Madrone would like to recognize that an eighteen-year-old Yurok Tribal member was be the first person counted for the 2020 Census in the State of California. It is important that everyone in the State participates as the Census count determines funding and assistance to each county. Although rural areas can be challenging to count, the Yurok tribe and other Tribes are committed to participation and are recognized for their efforts.
