That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Authorize the Chair to sign the resolution; and
2. Send a fully executed resolution to the Executive Director of the Southern Humboldt Chamber and Visitors Center - chamber@garberville.org.

DISCUSSION:
The Southern Humboldt Chamber of Commerce requests the Board of Supervisors adopt a resolution, as required by Caltrans, authorizing the closure of Benbow Drive for the annual Fourth of July event. The road closure will take place from approximately 9:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on July 4, 2026.
