RECOMMENDATION(S):
Recommendation
That the Board of Supervisors:
1. Approve, and authorize Chair of the Board to execute, the attached Professional Services Agreement (Attachment 2) with the California Forensic Medical Group (CFMG) regarding the provision of medical services to the incarcerated populations in both the HCCF and JH in the amount of $17,002,993.41 for the period of April 1, 2022, to June 30, 2025;
2. Authorize the Sheriff, Correctional Captain, or Deputy Director of Sheriff's Administration to execute any and all subsequent amendments to the attached professional services agreement with CFMG, after review and approval by County Counsel, Risk Management and the County Administrative Office;
3. Direct the Clerk of the Board to return one fully executed original copy of the attached professional services agreement with CFMG to the HCCF, Captain Duane Christian for further processing;
4. Delegate authority to transfer accounting responsibility of budget 1100-490 from Department 30 - Department of Health & Human Services to Department 25 - Sheriff's Office; and
5. Approve the Supplemental Budget for FY2021-22 for 1100-490 (Attachment 1) (4/5 vote required).
